don’t’ use this toothpaste, please consider donating to a local school or homeless
shelter. These are items that they will appreciated.

Always remember, it’s best to stock up when you can pair a coupon with the sale items.
This is how you maximize your savings. It is also a good time to purchase multiple of
those items so you are not paying full price and you can also give back to our
community.

Each week I will give several scenarios from multiple stores and walk you through how
to snag the deal. I always recommend baby steps. First try just doing one or two deals
until you get the hang of it and then BAM, before you know it, you will have your own
little stockpile.

Be sure to listen to 101.5 The River on Thursday mornings at 8 a.m. as I will be on with
Rick giving the best deals of the week and of course using my “coupon voice”. I always
give a detailed breakdown of each deal I talk about. I will save you over $20 weekly if
you purchase all the deals I mention, that’s money in your pocket!!

just go to the website and then click on the printable coupons dropdown box. Print
those coupons and BAM you will save $1, $2, or so much more!!

Each week I encourage you to pick up extra papers and save BIG. You will save a TON

Save $16 on 8.2.2018

There is $16 worth of savings this week in The Blade. With it being a holiday weekend, we will not be receiving the “normal” coupons, but rather will be receiving $6 in Steak N Shake coupons (which is ALWAYS a bonus) and a $10/$25 purchase at Kohl’s. So you can take a trip out for lunch and then go to Kohls and then come home and spend some good, quality family time. We are planning a BIG cookout this weekend with friends and family. Always, one last family/friend cookout before the end of summer and the closing of our pool. Do any of you have BIG plans?

This is a good weekend to go through your old inserts and get rid of all those coupons that have expired. I usually always do this at the beginning of the month. Did you know that you can send your expired coupons overseas to the military? They can use expired coupons up to 6 months from the expiration date. This is a huge blessing to them and their families.

Also, remember the Kroger Mega Event is still going on. It is a Buy 5, Save $5 instantly and runs through 9/4/18. Remember, you do not have to purchase 5 of the same items, you just need to purchase in quantities of 5 of participating products, i.e. items that are included in the Mega Event.

Be on the lookout for the back-to-school clearance deals that will be beginning at many stores. Some stores will not start until after Labor Day as many Michigan schools do not start until the day after, but keep your eyes open for all those BIG deals. All of my kids are in school or grown so our house is so quiet during the day. I miss my kids, but I cannot believe how much I can get done while they are gone. How many of you have quiet houses now also?

Many of the stores will start having clearance on their back-to-school supplies since school has started for many of our kids. Also, if you have coupons from the last few weeks, you can pick up Charmin Bath Tissue for ONLY $3.99 and Bounty Paper Towels for ONLY $3.99. These items NEVER go bad and as we all know, paper products are usually expensive. The retail for both of these products is $9.99 so you – so that is a BARGAIN!!

Be sure to listen to 101.5 The River on Thursday mornings at 8 a.m. as I will be on with Rick giving the best deals of the week and sometimes sharing some funny family stories and of course using my “coupon voice”. I will also give a detailed breakdown of how to get each deal that I talk about. I usually will save you over $20 for products most of us will use on a daily basis.

If you are skeptical about couponing, I ask that you try it one week and see how easy it really is. I mean seriously, I am doing all the work for you, all you have to do is go to the store 😊 Even if you save $10 a week at the grocery store, in a year’s time, you will have saved $520. That’s a huge savings and a nice chunk of change to use on something else.

There are also MANY printable coupons that you can print from freetastesgood.com – just go to the website and then click on the printable coupons dropdown box. Print those coupons and BAM you will save $1, $2, or so much more!!

Each week I encourage you to pick up extra papers and save BIG. You will save a TON on things you buy and use every day. Did you know if you already subscribe to the Blade, you can pick up additional Sunday papers for ONLY $1? Visit freetastesgood.com and I will show you how!

Just the coupons I mentioned above total over $9 in savings and that is only a few of the many coupons that we will be receiving this week. This is a great week to pick up a few EXTRA papers!! It really is that easy. Go to the store, take your coupons, and BAM you will be saving each week on things you already purchase.

The paper pays for itself when you take advantage of the $57 in savings this week. Go out and have some fun, but most importantly save money right here weekly in The Toledo Blade where Saving Money with Joni makes Cents!!

Save $122.95 on 7.6.18

There is $112.95 worth of savings this week in the Toledo Blade. We will be receiving 1 RMN (Retail Me Not) and 1 SmartSource. There are so many fantastic coupons especially since we have another Kroger Mega Event beginning Wednesday, July 11 through July 24. You all know this is when I get really excited and my “coupon voice” goes into full swing.

This is a great time to stock up on many items that you use every day. It doesn’t take much to save a LOT during these events.

I have also put together a Kroger Shopping Scenario that you can get over $300 in retail for under $130. All of these products are stuff the majority of us use daily and especially in the summertime.

The $0.50/1 Colgate Toothpaste coupon can be used at either Dollar Tree or Kroger to snag toothpaste for only $0.50. I always say you can ALWAYS get toothpaste for FREE, but if you are just starting $0.50 is a good price too J

Here are a few of my other favorite coupons:

· $0.80/1 PureSilk Shaving Cream
· $1/3 General Mills Cereal
· $0.50/2 Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks
· $0.50/1 Colgate Toothpaste
· $14 worth of Clairol Hair Color.

In addition, we have over $9 in Boston Market, $7 in Red Lobster, and $3 in Steak N Shake. I LOVE how many restaurant coupons we receive in the summer. I think they know that many of us don’t like to cook in this HOT heat.

People often ask me why I don’t do matchups for the hair color products so I am going to share. My husband, Jamie’s, moustache was starting to turn grey and our older kids were giving him a hard time. So one day he decided to use some color on it to get rid of the gray. He thought it looked good, but I am here to tell you it turned auburn (red). It was so noticeable. He looked like he had a big bushy cat’s tail on his face LOLJ So because of that, I don’t usually share those deals, because I am afraid he will see it and run out and get some more and try it again. On a positive note, those that do like to color their own hair can use those $14 worth of Clairol coupons to snag hair color for FREE to cheap.

We see so much negativity in the news and online, but through couponing we truly can impact many lives in such a positive way. You just never know how much it may impact and bless someone’s life.

As always, I will continue to put together Kroger Shopping Scenarios to help all you Newbies out 😊 It will be step-by-step instructions. This will show you, just how easy it is to coupon and how much money you can save. I am confident you will never go back to paying full price once you start couponing.

Also, be sure to listen to 101.5 The River on Thursday mornings at 8 a.m. as I will be on with Rick giving the best deals of the week and sometimes sharing some funny family stories, including many about my husband, Jamie (but before I share I always get permission from him) He is a good sport and also has many stories to share about me J
