4/23/2017 Savings worth $68

There is $68 in savings this week.  We will be receiving 2 inserts – 1 RedPlum (RP) and 1 SmartSource (SS)  and here are just a few of my favorite coupons.

If you have little ones in diapers, this is a good week for you.  We all know little ones can be expensive, so many of you will be glad to see we have $9 worth of Huggies coupons.  Huggies frequently go on sale at both Kroger and Meijer so you can really maximize your savings when you pair the coupon with a sale.

We also have those common coupons we frequently see as spring approaches – Off and Banana Boat.  We all need to get ready for the mosquitos and the sun right ?

Other great coupons that I love to see are the coupons for Kotex – feminine care products.  We have $4 worth of Kotex coupons.  Last year there was a fundraiser that was held for women’s feminine care products that were donated to many of the homeless shelter. This is a good time to take advantage of these coupons and donate to one of our many local homeless shelters and bless some of the homeless women.

We also have $4 in laundry detergent/fabric softener coupons.  All and Snuggle frequently go on sale at Kroger for $1.99 thus after the coupon, you would only pay $0.99.  This is a great time to get a hold of these coupons and wait until the sale to use.

I also love when we get coupons for makeup and this week there will be $4 worth of Covergirl coupons.  Again, wait for a sale and combine the sale and the coupon and BAM – you got a deal ?

Don’t pay full price, let us show you how to save with coupons. Follow us daily on the Blade Plus FB page and the blog.  Let us do all the work for you.  It’s like extra money in the bank.

As you can tell from just the coupons I mentioned, that is over $21 – that is only a few of the many coupons that we will be receiving this week.

The paper pays for itself when you take advantage of the $68 in savings this week.  Go out and have some fun, but most importantly save money right here weekly in The Toledo Blade where Saving Money with Joni makes Cents!!

4/16/2017 $81.50 worth of Savings

Although there are no coupon inserts this week due to the Easter Holiday, there is $81.50 in savings that can be used at Rite Aid, Target, Ulta, Elder Beerman, and Steak N Shake.

At Steak N Shake you can snag a $1/1 Peanut Butter Milkshake, $1 off Frisco Melt or Patty Melt N Fries, or $1 off any breakfast skillet during breakfast hours.

In addition, there is a $50 off a $100 purchase at Elder Beerman – that’s a 50% savings. As well as a $10 off $25 purchase – that’s a 40% savings.  With spring/summer right around the corner, now is a good time to use these coupons and purchase some summer attire.

If you haven’t gotten your yard in shape yet, head over to Target where you can save $5 on a $20 garden purchase. I love working in our yard, planting flowers, getting our grass green, and all the things that remind us of nice weather and family time in the backyard.

Many kids are on spring break this week so it is a good time to take advantage of all these AWESOME coupons.

Also, we want to remind everyone that the Kroger Mega Event continues through Tuesday, where you can save BIG TIME on the things we need every day.
