That means you could make the FAMOUS green bean casserole for under $4 this year. The shelf life on these canned goods are 1-2 years, so we stock up BIG! Last year I bought several cases of these items (I meal prep monthly) and I just ran out of our canned goods a few weeks ago. I was able to save our family almost $500 in just canned goods from this sale.
Many ask why we buy in bulk, so here is my explanation. If I only buy 1 can of the Cream of Mushroom or chicken soup for $0.49, but throughout the year us close to 100 cans. If I paid full price of $1.69 I would pay $169. If I purchase 100 for $0.49 or with coupon $0.39. I am only spending $39 for 100 cans. That makes a savings of $130 in just one product my family uses on a weekly basis. That’s when it becomes EXTREME COUPONING!!
There are many local charities providing Thanksgiving Baskets for families in need and this is a great time to pick up a few extra items and donate to help a family out in our community. Giving back is the best thing we can do while we are saving money! Be a blessing to others. If we all gave 1 or 2 items, every person in our community should be able to have a nice meal on Thanksgiving.
