You can NEVER have too much laundry detergent, right?! Many of the schools in Toledo and surrounding take donations for laundry detergent and toothpaste. We have 2 amazing deals on toothpaste, one will even be FREE ? Yes, you read that right, FREE!! That means get some for your family and then pass the blessing on to others. How cool would it be if everyone picked up one extra item and donated to our community. Clean clothes and clean teeth for everyone in Toledo and surrounding areas ?
Talking about back to school – how many of you are taking advantage of the tax-free weekend that ends tonight at 11:59 PM? During the holiday or tax-free weekend, the following items are exempt from sales and use tax:
· Clothing priced at $75 per item or less;
· School supplies priced at $20 per item or less; and
· School instructional material priced at $20 per item or less.
This is the third year and this saving adds up quickly. In addition, most of the stores have additional savings to get you into their store so if you are able, take advantage of this Tax-Free Weekend and have some fun with your kids ? There are a few Kohls coupons that pair nicely with this event:

This makes for a great time to get those items and maximize your savings with the tax-free weekend in addition to coupons ? Who doesn’t love saving mone?!
Have you also noticed all the stores have their school supplies out? Before you know it, they will be putting out Christmas stuff LOL!! In addition, Office Max/Office Depot has a ton of great weekly deals including their $0.25 deals. Each week I put a shopping scenario together of school supplies to save you and your family money, plus allowing everyone to pick up a few extra items to donate to one of the many Back to School Projects.
