You all know I love the Kroger Mega Events as this truly is a time that we can stock up on products we use every day. In addition, because we are saving so much, it is a great time to give back to our community. So many things that many of us take for granted like washing our hair, brushing our teeth, or washing our clothes, is a luxury to many families that are struggling financially. Did you know these types of items are not covered on food assistance cards? For this reason, many have to decide which items are more important to purchase. This is a time when we, as a community, can stand in the gap and give someone struggling a hand up (not a handout). Who knows we may be in that same position sometime.
We see so much negativity in the news and online, but through couponing we truly can impact many lives in such a positive way. You just never know how much it may impact and bless someone’s life.
