Save $273.60 on 4.27.18

There is $273.60 worth of savings this week in The Blade. We will be receiving 1 SS (Smart Source), 1 Retail Me Not (formerly known as RedPlum), and 1 P&G. You all know by now I LOVE the P&G. They are always filled with items we use every day.

Here are a few of my favorite Kroger Deals:

Tide Laundry Detergent – $5.99
Use $2/1 coupon from P&G insert
Final Price: $3.99 each wyb 2

Tide Pods – $5.99
Use $2/1 coupon from P&G insert
Final Price: $3.99

Our family LOVES Tide and we always stock up when it is on sale. This is a good time to get those additional Sunday Blade subscription for ONLY $1! It pays for itself with all the coupons in each Sunday’s papers.

Here are a few of my other FAVORITE coupons that will pair nicely with upcoming sales at Meijer and Kroger.

· $5/3 Pantene Products
· $1/1 Bounty Basics or Charmin
· $1/1 Oral-B Adult or Kids Manual Toothbrush
· $1/1 Crest Toothpaste
· $0.50/1 Pampers Wipes
· $1.50/1 Luvs Diapers
· $0.50/1 Lady and Men’s Speedstick Deodorant

In addition, we have $12 worth of Olive Garden Coupons. What’s your favorite meal at Olive Garden? I love to go for the unlimited soup, salad and of course the unlimited breadsticks. Breadsticks themselves can be considered a meal right 😉?

I mentioned last week, that in the next few weeks we will start seeing more coupons for condiments, hotdogs, etc. All of these coupons will pair nicely with the upcoming Memorial Day Sales at both Meijer and Kroger. The shelf life on most of these products is a year, so I say stock up while you can get them for FREE/cheap. Remember, you NEVER want to pay full price for anything.

I have also put together a Kroger Shopping Scenario this week. You can purchase over $250 worth of products for under $100. This shopping scenario contains bath tissue, paper towels, laundry detergent, pasta, fruit snacks, and so much more. You will see that with using coupons, you will get name-brand products, cheaper than generic products. That is the coolest part about couponing – items that you used to think were expensive, you will be able to purchase for cheap and sometimes even FREE!

I want to thank everyone that came out and helped make our FREE Laundry Day a great success at Super Suds Laundromat at 3509 W. Alexis Road in Toledo. We had a great turnout and washed and dried 100’s of loads of laundry. This is such a cool way to give back to our community and help those families that truly need a hand up. Don’t ever discount the smallness of any gift, because it does impact lives and does make a difference.

Be sure to listen to 101.5 The River on Thursday mornings at 8 a.m. as I will be on with Rick giving the best deals of the week and sometimes sharing some funny family stories!! I will also give a detailed breakdown of how to get each deal that I talk about.

There are also MANY printable coupons that you can print from freetastesgood.com – just go to the website and then click on the printable coupons dropdown box.

Each week I encourage you to pick up extra papers and save BIG. You will save a TON on things you buy and use every day. Did you know if you already subscribe to the Blade, you can pick up additional Sunday papers for ONLY $1? Visit freetastesgood.com and I will show you how!

Don’t pay full price, let us show you how to save with the Blade’s weekly coupons. Follow us daily on the Blade Plus FB page and the blog and/or visit us also on

Just the coupons I mentioned above total over $26in savings and that is only a few of the many coupons that we will be receiving this week. This is a great week to pick up a few EXTRA papers!! It really is that easy. Go to the store, take your coupons, and BAM you will be saving each week on things you already purchase.

The paper pays for itself when you take advantage of the $273.60 in savings this week. Go out and have some fun, but most importantly save money right here weekly in The Toledo Blade where Saving Money with Joni makes Cents!!
